Thanks very much for hosting our residential meeting on Monday and Tuesday. It was an exhausting two days for us – it always is! But it was enhanced by beautiful surroundings and by yours and Nicky’s support to make it a success.
In terms of my feedback, I was very pleased with the conference rooms – well laid out, clean, tidy, professional, nice to have signage welcoming us, the wifi worked throughout and the option to have sound was great. The fact that nothing was too much trouble was really lovely. Toilets just outside the suites were immaculate.
Teas, coffees and danishes and biscuit top ups – all fab.
Lunch on Monday was lovely – I wasn’t expecting warm options and I think that catered equally for all requirements. Pudding was a bonus too!
Bedrooms – I only saw mine and Louisa’s but based on my visit a couple of months ago I didn’t have any worries at all. My room was lovely – clean, well furnished, everything I needed, nothing broken or dodgy as you sometimes get!
All the staff were excellent .
The conference rooms were well turned around for us by Tuesday morning and all clean and lovely again. The packed lunches were great and I can’t tell you how grateful we were for them, by the time we got to Exeter!

I am writing to compliment one of your members of staff for the excellent customer service she showed me on a visit.
I was attending a regular conference at the hotel and found that the meeting was going to last much longer than I had understood and that I would be unable to leave in time to reach a post-office to send urgent correspondence, which needed to be recorded delivery that day.
I explained my predicament to Laura on reception who said she would try and get the mail sent for me. Upon my return, I learnt that she had personally gone to the nearby post offce for me and had sent my letter successfully.
I found her attitude to be truly outstanding and her helpfulness went above and beyond the call of duty.

Just a quick note from us here at the RSC South West to express our thanks for the last 3 days.
For us our conference ran very smoothly, which has to be credited in part to your wonderful staff on all 3 days, Laura, Lindsay, and the lady on the last day and of course yourself were magicians, and the chef’s were amazing, the BBQ was awesome, the lunches were fantastic, thank you George and staff, also many thanks to all the other staff who are behind the scenes, whose names I did not catch, but who made the days seem seamless. The staff were polite, helpful, easy to approach so please pass on my thanks to them all. It was a pleasure.

When I spoke to you I did mention that my expectation that the 3 days would arguably be the most significant of my career so far. I have always found Stephanie very accommodating and she will put herself out to help us. This was very much evident during the EXCEL selection day where we booked 1 room when 2 were required. She helped clear out another room we could use. Very helpful when it comes to clearing out rooms at lunchtime and ensuring we get the keys so security of our high value items e.g. Laptops, handbags.
She is always there on hand when we arrive and again when we finish.
Overall I am very impressed with her level of service.

I give regular small/large workshops around the country at various venues – normally either Regus or high class hotels. The Rookery Manor ranks with the very best, and as your prices are extremely competitive in comparison I shall make every effort to visit you again.
My students spoke highly of the accommodation, and I cannot praise the conference room facilities and the technical support given. As I train live on the worlds’ foreign exchange market – it is essential to have a reliable high speed connection and good projection/screen facilities – yours were excellent
